About Me
My name is Niki Rakopoulou. I’m a 17-year-old filmmaker, photographer, and visual artist with a strong passion for storytelling. My creative work centers around themes of identity, mental health, and human connection, with a focus on making the invisible visible.
I am the founder and creator of GloWithin, a multidisciplinary awareness project that uses visual media to shed light on the realities of eating disorders. Through documentary film, photography, and narrative, the project aims to foster meaningful conversations, challenge stigma, and promote a more compassionate understanding of mental health—particularly among young people.
Beyond GloWithin, I am committed to pursuing a future in media and film, where I can continue to use art as a tool for advocacy and impact. I strive to create powerful, honest narratives that resonate, inform, and inspire.
